Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival at Amritsar
On Arrival at Amritsar airport you will meet and received by our local representative at the airport and will be drop at hotel in Amritsar, check-in at hotel & relax. If time permits we will attend Flag ceremony at wagah border and will cover Jalyanwala Bagh.
Day 02: Amritsar- Dalhousie
After breakfast, check out from hotel and visit Golden temple, later drive to Dalhousie. Dalhousie has been named after the British Governor – General of the l9th century, Lord Dalhousie. Surrounded by varied vegetation – pines, dodders, oaks and flowering rhododendron. In the on arrival check n at hotel and relax. Enjoy dinner with family and free at leisure.
Day 03: Dalhousie
Dalhousie has been named after the British Governor – General of the l9th century, Lord Dalhousie. Surrounded by varied vegetation – pines, dodders, oaks and flowering rhododendron. Local sightseeing of Dalhousie includes visit to Panjipula, SubhashBaoli and excursion to Khajjiar 24 km from Dalhousie surrounded by thick Deodar forest. Drive from Dalhousie to Khajjiar is awesome.
Day 04: Dalhousie to Dharamshala
After breakfast we will check-out and move to Dharamhsala it is a hill-station lying on the spur of the Dhauladhar Mountains about 18 kms north-east of Kangra, It is known for its scenic beauty set amidst high pine and oak trees. Since 1960, when it became the temporary headquarters of His Holiness The Dalai Lama, Dharamshala has risen to international repute as “The Little Lhasa in India”. On arrival check-in & relax later will do the local sightseeing of Places which includes, His holiness Dalai lama residence at Mc Leodgunj, War memorial, Bhagsunath temple and Dal Lake. Reach Dalhousie in the evening.
Day 05: Dalhousie – Manali
This day after breakfast Check out and drive to Manali .Enroute keep your cameras on, to take the pictures of scenic spots such as beas river, kullu valley, Dashehra maiden etc. On arrival Check in at the hotel. Manali is a picture-perfect hill resort at an altitude of 1,929 meters set amidst snow capped peaks, the beauty of Manali is enchanced by the beas river with its clear water, meandering through the town. All around one sees deodar and pine trees, tiny fields and fruit orchards. Evening free for individual activities.
Day 06: Manali Local sightseeing
This day after breakfast proceed for local sightseeing of Manali, visit the 450 years old temple dedicated to Hadimba Devi, which showcases some excellent woodcarving. Also visit Manu Temple and VashishtKund, known for its hot sulphur springs. Evening free for shopping at local Tibetan Market.
Day 07: Manali Local sightseeing (Optional)
This day after early breakfast proceed for Snow Point on Rohatang road. Enoute stop at Solangvallwy. Rohtang pass (altitude 3940 meters) is 51 kms from Manali,but due to heavy snow covered roads, this pass is not acceddible for almost 8 months of the year. Evening back to Manali and time free for individual leisure activities. If roads to Rohtang Pass are closed then visit Snow Point (ponies/horses can be hired directly) (Overnight in Manali). (Breakfast & Dinner).
Day 08: Manali – Shimla
This day after breakfast Check out and drive to Shimla. Shimla, the former summer capital of British India, set amidst the snow cappedShivalik mountains, offers some of the most stunning views of the mighty Himalayas. On arrival at Shimla check-in at the hotel.
Day 09: Shimla local Sightseeing
This day after breakfast proceed for sightseeing in and around Shimla and visit Kufri. At an altitude of 2,622 meters, Kufri is famous for its trekking and hiking trails,and snow-covered slopes for skiing and tobogganing. Afternoon take a walking tour of Shimla, visit the Jakoo hills that offer a panoramic view of the town, the Vice Regal Lodge or walk down the road.
Day 10: Shimla – Chandigarh
This day after breakfast Check out and drive to Chandigarh. Chandigarh, the beautiful capital of Punjab and Haryana, is on the edge of the Sivalik hills, the outermost edge of the Himalayas. proceed for the sightseeing tour of Chandigarh. Visit Rock Garden.
Day 11: Chandigarh –Krukshetra-Delhi
This day after breakfast Check out and drive to Delhi doing on route visit Krukshetra , on arrival at Delhi check-in & relax.
Day 12: Delhi- Agra- Mathura- Vrindavan- Delhi
After Breakfast at hotel Drive to Agra (which was the capital of Mughal Empire for a long time) which takes about four to five hours. Start your sightseeing tour of Agra by visiting the Agra Fort, which was built by three Mughal emperors. Akbar started the construction but died before the fort was complete. His son Jehangir continued the construction of the fort, later son of Jehangir-Shah Jahan-added new structures to the massive fort. After visiting Agra fort, we head to visit the most beautiful monument of India, the Taj Mahal. The Taj Mahal was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan between 1631-52, as a tomb and memorial to his beloved wife MumtazMahal.Next proceed to Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah, built by Empress Noor Jehan in memory of her father and shopping markets of Agra after finishing tour of Agra proceed to delhi on the way visit Mathura and Brindavana. Overnight stay at the hotel in Agra.
Day 13: Delhi-city tour-Delhi Drop
After breakfast ,check out from the Hotel & proceed to Delhi city sightseeing including India gate, Parliament house, Akshardham temple, Kutubminar, Red fort, Chandani Chawk shopping and dinner after dinner drop to delhiinretation airport for flight back to home.
