An excellent place to visit and enjoy the holy Yatra during holidays. This Yatra takes place in the extreme north of India covered with huge mountains and glaciers. Mt Kailash will be seen in this Yatra, which a dream of many people.
Another awesome place to visit is Manasarovar along the Kailash, they two make a good pair in this Yatra. Tourists always visit these places if they start their journey from Kathmandu which is the largest Himalayan state in Asia. Nearly 500 km distance travel is made by travellers from Kathmandu to the start of this Yatra. There are some fascinating places between Kailash to Manasarovar which will be detailed in Indian temple tour. Trekking is famous in this area. The tourist will get a glimpse of the wonder of nature in this Yatra. The best time to visit this Yatra is during summer and monsoon, from May to November.

Itinerary
Day 01: Dharamshala – Triund (1+4 Hrs)
In the morning drive to the beginning of the trek just a little beyond McLeod Ganj (1860 Mts.). Then trek
start towards Triund (9 Kms). It takes half day. We will reach Triund camping site. Overnight in tents.
Day 02: Triund – Lahesh Cave (09 Kms / gaining the height 3600 M – challenging day)
Start the trek early as a distance of 9 km (5 hrs) will be covered today. The trek is through Deodar forests.Overnight in tents.
Day 03: Lahesh – Indrahar Pass – Chatta (09 Kms / gaining the height 3800 M – challenging day)
You can expect to see great views from the Pass of the Pir Panjal Range and the Mani Mahesh Kailash.
Set up camp for the night at Chatta.
Day 04: Chatta – Kuarsi (09 Kms / gaining the height 2730 M – moderate trek day)
The trek will cross a few snow bridges and enter the Kuarsi Village to Holi Choli .
Day 05: Kuarsi – Hilling – Holi – Kalah (moderate trek day)
Today first trek is only 03 Kms from Kuarsi to Hilling then we will stop for lunch and take a sharing taxi from down village for a 10 kms stretch. Again a 6 kms trek will lead us to Kalah village – a beautiful Himalayan site. Overnight camp here.
Day 06: Kalah – Manimahesh Lake (moderate to challenging)
Today our trek is 9 Kms which will lead us to Manimahesh lake – a sacred site. Reaching there, we will
take darshan of Kailash Manimahesh from lake area. We can also have a holy bath there in the lake.
Overnight at camping in Manimahesh.
Day 07: Manimahesh Lake – Hadsar – Bharmour (descending day)
Today we will do sacred bath at lake, later after pooja and darshan, we will have our breakfast at
our camping site and trek back to Hadsar (13 Kms descend). Reaching Hadsar in the evening, we will
take a taxi back to Bharmour. On arrival check in at same hotel/homestay.
Day 08:Bharmour / Departure
After breakfast, its time to say good bye to Kailash Manimahesh with a promise to come back again!
