Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive at Colombo to Kandy
On the 1st day, arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport, where you will meet with our company representative. Then start your journey to Kandy for your 4 nights 5 days Sri Lanka tour. Stop by Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage and also visit the Spice and Herbal Garden to learn about Sri Lanka’s history of spices production. After your check into your booked accommodation, you can go to attend the cultural heritage show, the Kandyan Dance Show, or you can visit the Sacred Tooth Relic Temple, Sri DaladaMaligawa, Gem Museum, etc.
Day 2: Explore Nuwara Eliya
On the 2nd day, embark on a trip to Nuwara Eliya after breakfast. You can stop by Peradeniya to explore the Royal Botanic Garden. En route, take a tour of the Tea Factory famous for tea production since colonial times. Next, you can visit the Shri Bhakta Hanuman Temple in Ramboda and the Ramboda Ella waterfall. Strawberry Farm, Gregory Lake, etc., are the extra tour locations you can go to if time allows.
Day 3: Head to Bentota
Set out to Bentota on the 3rd day after breakfast. Stop by the Horton Plains National Park, which offers massive biodiversity with many stunning features. Next, you can go to Seetha Aman Temple, where the princess Sitha is worshipped near the Ashok Vatika. Then there are St. Clair’s Falls and Devon Falls; you just have to stop by to experience nature’s wonder. After that, you can reach the Kitulgala town to enjoy the White Water Rafting and a thrill ride on Kelani River before retiring for the night.
Day 4: Sightseeing at Negombo
After breakfast in your Bentota accommodation point, start your journey to Negombo on the 4th day for a full day of sightseeing. You can stop at Kosgoda for a boat ride safari through the marshy mangrove forest. Leave for Colombo sightseeing in the afternoon and visit the Old Fort area, Gangaramaya Temple, National Museum of Sri Lanka, Galle Face Green, etc.
Day 5: Departure
On the last day of the tour, check out from the hotel in Colombo after breakfast and head to Bandaranaike International Airport for departure.
